Who doesn’t know Virat Kohli? But you must have never seen him painted on a canvas. Poonam Gupta, a British Indian Entrepreneur purchased Artist Sacha Jafri's painting portraying Virat Kohli's IPL journey sold for a nearly Rs 24 Crore.

The Quint: Vadodara Kids Pay Tribute to Sachin, Paint 100 Cricket Bats

With ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ nearing its release date, children In Vadodara paid a unique tribute to the Master Blaster by painting 100 bats in an event on Wednesday.
Organised by INOX, the 100 bats represent the 100 centuries struck by Tendulkar in his illustrious career. The painted bats will be later put up in an exhibition where people will vote for the best five. The winners will then get a chance to meet their hero.

The Quint: Female Inmates of Vadodara Central Jail Flaunt their Artistic Work

Female inmates of Vadodara Central Jail tap into their creative side and make artworks. This was done during a week-long workshop conducted by Sarjan Art Gallery.
The inmates were asked to create painting based on the theme of family.
"The motive was to make the inmates feel better about themselves’’ says Coordinator, Vaishnavi Sharma.

Adam Hargreaves, a 28-year-old artist from Yorkshire uses his vivid imagination to transform walls of kids’ rooms by meticulously painting various superheroes in action.
Hargreaves paints these cartoon characters while painting wall murals, a work he started after his daughter's Disneyland wall mural went viral last year. Ever since then, he has been flooded with orders. It takes 3 weeks to make a room alive. Check out this time lapse video.
