Setting the Record Straight on Subramanian Swamy - The Quint

Roxna and Subramanian Swamy have been married for fifty years. Together, they’ve made a family, a political career and a legal practice. But regardless of the multiple controversies they’ve been in, they’ve never made an effort to set the record straight. Until now.
The idea of the book came from the BBC’s decision to not publish an interview with Roxna Swamy on the Emergency. She’d spoken about the circumstances that led to Subramanian Swamy’s estrangement with Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the Jan Sangh in the late 1970s.

PM Modi to CM Mufti, Leaders Condemn Attack on Amarnath Yatris - The Quint

As seven Amarnath pilgrims, including five women, were killed in an attack on Monday evening, politicians across party lines expressed their shock, condemning the dastardly attack.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy attacked the Jammu and Kashmir government and said that “central rule must be imposed through Governor”.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the attack on Amarnath Yatris by calling it a “heinous” attack. He added that no one should play politics over the attack and that the government would have to answer some questions “if not today, tomorrow”.

Leaders of Opposition while condemning the attack also lay blame with the BJP for the lapses in security.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress Vice President also expressed his grief, reiterating PM Modi’s stance that India will “never be intimidated by these attacks”.
