Rajasthan Woman Names Her Baby Born on July 1 ‘GST’ | The Quint

A new mother in Rajasthan decided to name her child ‘GST’. The child was born at 12.02 am on July 1. GST’s parents decided to name her after the launch of Goods and Services Tax reform on June 30.
As soon as the news of the child was shared on social media, BJP members including Vasundhara Raje were quick to send their best wishes to the newborn’s mother.
