The Quint: Stranded Indian National Uzma Returns Home; Swaraj Welcomes Her

Indian national Uzma Ahmed who was stranded for almost a month in Pakistan returned home through the Wagah border amid complete security. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj welcomed her home. Uzma’s allegations that she was forced into a marriage with Pakistani national at gunpoint, had gathered a diplomatic storm until a Pakistani court ruled in favour of her repatriation.
