A man was thrashed by a mob for allegedly carrying beef in Nagpur’s Bharsingi village on 12 July. Salim Ismail Sheikh, a resident of Katol town, was returning home on his bike when five or six men accosted him at a bus stop in Bharsingi village of Nagpur rural, and asked him to get off the two-wheeler.

Gau Rakshaks Strike Again, Thrash Truck Driver In Guwahati | The Quint

Cow vigilantes, allegedly members of the local unit of Hindu Yuva Chhatra Parishad, assaulted a truck driver carrying cattle in Sonapur, Guwahati.
According to a police official, a truck and two tempos were carrying the cattle near Sonapur area of Guwahati district.
