A government primary school in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur district has been converted into a poultry farm, while the children are away on their summer vacation. The school principal and the village head have been reportedly deemed responsible.
The village head claims that an extra classroom was given only on a temporary basis to a nearby poultry farm when it got destroyed due to heavy rain. He went on to blame the education department for the deplorable condition of the school, which is stacked with dung-cakes and overflowing with filth.
