With the state of Himachal Pradesh nearing elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bilaspur and laid the foundation stone for AIIMS and IIIT and talked about launching a steel plant project in the area.
Referring to the opening of AIIMS as a boon, not just for the Himachal Pradesh residents but also for the tourism industry, he claimed that having an elite hospital with a functional trauma centre will lure tourists to coming to Himachal Pradesh.
