His first book was a collection of LaPrek or short love stories, and is part of Rajkamal Prakashan’s Facebook Fiction Series. The 90-page long book "Ishq Mein Shahar Hona," is now in its sixth edition and was recently declared a bestseller by Dainik Jagran and Nielsen.
The Union Home Ministry has sought a report from the Karnataka government Gauri Lankesh’s death, an official said.
The move came after Home Minister Rajnath Singh directed Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba to get a report from the state government.
The Karnataka government has been asked to provide details of the incident and the steps taken to nab those involved in the killing, the official added.
Addressing media , Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he has asked the police to take up the case on priority and added that the “law and order situation in Karnataka is very good”.
