The Quint: DCW Assures Action Against Violent Threats to Gurmehar Kaur

Delhi Commission for Women’s (DCW) chief, Swati Maliwal on Monday came out in support of Gurmehar Kaur – the daughter of Kargil Martyr Captain Mandeep Singh – who has been facing strong backlash on social media for her campaign #StudentsAgainstAVBP.
Speaking to the media, the DCW chief expressed disappointment at the abuse faced by the LSR student, after she expressed her opinion on the violence in Ramjas.
