The Quint: ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ Echo in Temples as Devotees Observe Shivaratri



On account of Maha Shivaratri, devotees from all across India observe day-long fasts and brave long queues outside temples in honour of Lord Shiva.
Today the disciples celebrate the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and believe that by worshipping Lord Shiva all their wishes will be fulfilled.
From Mumbai and Delhi to Varanasi and Haridwar “Om Namah Shivaya” echoed in the temples as devotees pay their respects to Shiva.
