A case has been registered against a group of men for allegedly kidnapping, beating and later consuming the meat of a pet dog named Brownie in Gurugram. Brownie’s owner Anupam Srivastav, also a Gurugram resident raised an alarm about his disappearance on April 17.
Srivastav was alerted by two people about the whereabouts of his pet dog and was informed that he was beaten to death.
An NGO named ‘People for Animals’ (PFA) next filed an FIR against the group for allegedly abducting and killing the animal.
