The Quint: Shami on India Comeback For Champions Trophy & Playing With Zaheer



India's premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami made a comeback to the Indian squad after he was named the 15-member side, who will travel to England and Wales for the Champions Trophy.

The 26-year-old said that he felt really good when he was named in the team. He added that, the IPL will help him get used to the shorter-format before the Champions Trophy, which begins on 1 June.

The pacer spoke about his experience of playing with Zaheer Khan for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL.

Shami said that India have the best pace attack in the world and the team will try their best to defend their Champions Trophy title. 

Shami, hasn't played a match for India since November 2016 and has not played an ODI since the 2015 World Cup.
