The CBSE has attracted severe criticism over its bizarre set of rules for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Examiners at the TISK school in Kerala's Kannur district school, a NEET exam centre, allegedly forced a female candidate to remove her bra, citing that it violated the ‘no metal objects in the exam hall’ policy.
Students who did not adhere to the ‘dress code’ in question were asked to change, with some students reportedly travelling a few kilometres to buy and change into new clothes. Jewellery and accessories were forbidden, and students were asked to get rid of all their ornaments, with some security personnel working to cut the jewellery off some of the aspirants.
