The Quint: After Triple Talaq, Woman Stages Dharna Outside Husband’s House

A 30-year-old woman, Rehana, staged a dharna outside her in-laws’ house after her husband refused to let her in. Rehana’s husband allegedly pronounced triple talaq and kicked her out of the house.
Refusing to accept this, Rehana staged a dharna and started banging the door of the house repeatedly. Rehana’s father was also present with her. He alleged that Rehana’s in-laws want to marry Rehan’s husband to some other woman. He also alleged that Rehana’s in-laws were demanding dowry.
Rehana said that she wants justice for herself and her 4-year-old daughter and if she is denied the justice, then she will resort to any extreme measure including conversion to Hinduism.
