India’s captain Mithali Raj said that her team’s last four or five batters could not handle the pressure in the World Cup final against England at Lord’s on Sunday. The women in blue lost the nail-biter by 9 runs.
The skipper added that the lower middle order needs to start contributing to the team. She expressed that the lower order never contributes enough runs to the side.
However, the 34-year-old said that she is proud with the way her team has grown in the last two years.
