At least 23 people were charred to death in a cracker factory in Balaghat, MP that caught fire around 3 pm on Wednesday, 7 June. Bharat Yadav, Balaghat Collector said that the factory is legal but whether it worked within the permitted limits of explosives and practiced essential safety measures or not is yet to be determined.
