UP Madarsa’s Defy ‘Fatwa’ And Recite National Anthem on 15 August - The Quint



On 15th of August, when India celebrated it’s 71st Independence Day, a ‘fatwa’ was issued by Ala Hazrat Dargah, a prominent Madarsa in Bareilly, forbidding the Muslims from singing national anthem as it ‘was against the norms of Shariyat (Muslims Law)’.
