2 Separate Shooting Incidents Rock USA, Congress Whip Critical - The Quint



Two separate incidents of shooting shook the United States on Wednesday. A gunman opened fire at a congressional baseball practice in Virginia, while a United Parcel Service (UPS) Inc employee opened fire at a company facility in San Francisco.
The Republican members of Congress were holding baseball practice for their annual Democrats v/s Republicans game in Virginia near Washington, when a gunman started shooting. At least five people were injured, including Rep Steve Scalise, Representatives Majority Whip and representative for Louisiana's 1st congressional district.
In a separate incident in San Francisco, at least four people were killed and several others wounded a UPS employee opened fire at a company facility in San Francisco. After firing at his co-workers, the gunman shot himself, succumbing to his injuries later in the hospital.
