India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik and all-rounder Hardik Pandya said on Wednesday that once the players take the field on Sunday (India vs Pakistan), the game is going to be only about bat against ball.
Pandya said that the team will not put unnecessary pressure on themselves in their first Champions Trophy encounter.
Karthik also spoke about his excellent innings of 94 runs in India’s second warm-up game against Bangladesh on Tuesday.
The ICC Champions Trophy kicks off with England taking on Bangladesh at the Oval on 1 June.
