A doctor from Bulandshahr’s Heritage hospital was thrashed by the patient’s family alleging medical negligence. The act was caught on CCTV cameras. “We can’t predict anything in this profession. She was administered spinal anaesthesia and there was no overdose of anaesthesia,” said Dr Sanjeev Yadav.
4,000 doctors went on a strike last week demanding CCTV cameras and security guards in the hospital after four incidents of attacks on doctors. The recent attack took place despite the Maharashtra government appealing to doctors to end their protest and assuring safety to doctors.
