India’s captain Virat Kohli lauded Cheteshwar Pujara and Wriddhiman Saha’s 199-run partnership after the third Test between India and Australia ended in a draw at Ranchi on Monday.
The Delhi lad said that he feels sad that some people don’t understand Pujara’s importance in the Indian side. He added that Saha is the type of player, who is willing to do anything for the team.
When asked about Mohammed Shami’s chances of playing the next Test, Kohli said that the Indian team management has sent the fast bowler to play Vijay Hazare Trophy to get some match practice.
The skipper expressed that all kinds of possibilities are there of Shami playing the next Test.
