Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was injured after the stage on which he was standing caved in at a religious ceremony in Patna on Friday. Yadav had gone to attend a Yajna in the city’s Digha area at around 7 in the evening, when the incident took place. As Yadav walked towards his seat, the temporary structure collapsed, throwing the 68-year-old to the ground. A sea of devotees had climbed onto the stage, which, reports say, could not bear their weight.
