The Quint: SC Bids For Dialogue on Ram Mandir, But Will Talks work?

Years after various parties sought legal recourse to the Babri Masjid dispute, the Supreme Court on Tuesday suggested that the ‘sensitive’ matter could be settled through dialogue.
Pleased with the decision, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh said, “The judgement given by hounourable Supreme Court is a good decision”
The response from Chief Justice JS Khehar came up during hearing on Subramanian Swamy’s petition over a urgent hearing into the matter. Reacting to the CJI’s observation, Swamy later told ANI that “a mediator must be appointed in the case.” The BJP Lawmaker added that “a Mosque could be built anywhere, but that Ayodhya is the birth place of Ram cannot be disputed.”
