The Quint: This Diver Swims Down 42-Metre Without Oxygen Tank

Freediver, Umberto Pelizzari swims down to the bottom of a 42 metre deep pool.
More used to the ocean, Pelizzari obtained 6 world records in various apnea disciplines between 1991 and 2001.

Located in Italy, the 42-metre deep Y40 pool has various steps at 10 and 20 metres and a cave area for underwater speleologists. The pool is as deep as a 14 storey tower block, it's naturally heated by thermal springs and there's not a single fish in sight.
In addition to dive lessons, professional teams also use the pool for practice. But it will take more than a few sessions before novice divers can get this creative with some fins and giant bubble rings.
