A study by the United Nations has found that Indians formed the largest group among the 243 million expats in the globe. The study shows that 13,575,724 Indian were living abroad in 2015.
Our neighbouring nations China, Bangladesh and Pakistan ranked fourth, fifth and sixth in the UN list.
US, The Biggest Host
Among the host countries, the United States tops the chart receiving a total of 46,627,102 migrants followed by Germany (12,005,690) and Russia (10,576,766) at second and third positions.
