The Quint’s cricket expert Nishant Arora said that India will need a lead of at least 250 runs to put the Australians under pressure in the second Test at Bengaluru.
Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane strung a partnership of 93 runs on day three and helped India post 213/4 until the close of play on Monday. The home side lead the Baggy Greens by 126 runs at the moment.
Nishant added that the Australians will find it difficult to chase a target over 250 runs on a crumbling pitch in Bengaluru.
